What are the main functions of a network analyzer?

2023-10-12

Network analyzers are widely used and play an important role in network fault detection and maintenance. It has five main functions:

1. Frequency mark function

This function of the network analyzer has four frequency standard methods to choose from to facilitate measurement readings.

2. Naturalization function

This function of the network analyzer is used to eliminate systematic errors during transmission/reflection measurements. In all cases the calibration is full frequency band calibration, full band (from 1MHz-1000

MHz) calibration point is 500 points.

3. Storage call function

This feature of the network analyzer can be used to store the most commonly used instrument settings.

4. Print function

This function of the network analyzer provides a standard parallel output interface, which can be connected to a printer to print out the test curve and frequency mark data.

5. Smoothing function

This function of the network analyzer removes noise from the signal trace and adjusts the sweep speed.
